Club Competitions
These cups and trophies add a degree of fun and competition to our sport and give recognition of the skills needed.
The current competitions are:

| Open Area Cup | Yes | Heaviest trout caught outside the Auckland /Waikato F&G region. |
| Ross Mason Memorial trophy | Yes | Heaviest trout caught while staying at the Turangi Club Lodge. |
| Specimen fish Cup | Yes | Heaviest Brown trout. |
| Photography Cup (nee Tisdalls Cup) | Yes | Best fishing-related photograph. |
| Flyfishing Cup | No | A one-day event in a nominated river. Best aggregate weight of up to 3 trout. |
| Jill Mandeno Memorial Cup (AFAC vs NSFF Inter Club Trophy) | No | Inter club competition run in conjunction with the North Shore Fly Fishers |
| President’s Cup | No | Presented by the President for outstanding service to the club. (Presidents discretion) |
| Manic Tackle Project fly-tying Challenge | – | Annual Fly tying competition |
| The New Zealand Fishing News Literary Award | – | For the best original article in Riffles Magazine this season. |

Complete the following form to submit your entry. Please include any photos you have of your catch.
(Note: You will need to use your Google login)
Rules
- All financial members are eligible to enter
- Enter as many competitions as you are eligible.
- No entry form is required for: AFAC vs NSFF Inter Club Trophy, Fly Fishing Cup, President’s Cup, or any of the non-fishing competitions (ie: Fly Tying Trophy, Fly Tying Challenge, Literary Award).
The AFAC Facebook members group is a space for members to share fishing stories and find a ride for the weekend’s fishing trips.
