Photo Competition

Tisdalls Cup Photo Competition.

All members of AFAC are entitled to enter at no cost.

The photos are to be in jpeg format. and submitted as a digital file to the designated organizer/judge.

Any form of camera can be used, so long as the submitted photo is sent as a digital file in jpeg format.

Prints are not acceptable.

Each photo should have a title and must be identified with the photographers name. Note – a group of photos submitted by a single photographer may be identified as such in the submitting email.

Each photo must be taken by the person submitting the entry.

The subject is to cover all or parts of legal fishing both in freshwater and saltwater. This includes the area of fishing – landscapes and seascapes, lakes, rivers, streams, equipment, fishing from boats, tackle, flies, the catch, the catch as a meal. Morning, evening, night – if you dare. Even getting to the site of fishing, the accomodation, the atmosphere, the people.

Each photo must tell a story of what is happening.

Each photo will be judged on the story content, composition, and quality.

There will be a “Champion Photo” which wins the Tisdalls Cup, A Second Place, and a Third Place.

All Photos will be displayed as a slide show at the annual Xmas Function.

Entries close at 7.00 pm on Monday 30th November. Late entries will not be accepted. (The judge needs time to review each photo and assemble the Slideshow and advise the committee of the results so that the Cup can be engraved and Certificates made.)
