How our trips work

Day trips
Our day trips are usually only a few hours drive from Auckland. Members make their way to the meeting spot on the morning of the trip in time for a briefing.
New or less experienced anglers can be paired up with those with local knowledge or experience.
Members that need transport or are looking for guidance or gear should let the trips coordinator know by email when signing up.
You will be responsible for your own lunch and snacks for the day.

Away trips
Overnight trips involve organizing transport, food and accommodation so please ensure you sign up early and let us know your transport and food preferences. You will be informed of trip details prior to the trip date.

How Much?

Most day trips are free for members, you will need to cover your own transport and lunch costs.
For longer trips that involve shared food and accommodation expenses, attendees will be notified of the costs once final numbers are confirmed. For a weekend this is usually around $150 covering all food and lodging.
