Yes AFAC now stands for the Auckland Flyfishing Anglers Club.
Why have we made this change. Well many of our membership are now actively involved in salt water fly fishing as well as fresh water angling.
One of the most rapidly growing area in fishing over recent years is saltwater flyfishing with many regions offering fishing equal to anywhere in the world.
The range of fish that can be targeted with the fly are numerous and include snapper, kahawai, kingfish, tarakihi whether it be river estuaries, rocky outcrops or from kayaks, jetskis or the family boat.
New to either salt or fresh water and want to fish with like minded fishos, then join the Auckland Flyfishing Anglers Club and share the knowledge, assets and fun with other members who enjoy our sport.
